- A headlamp is 10 times better than a flashlight.
- You don’t really need 23 pair of underwear.
- If you want to drink cold water, your water bottle opening needs to be big enough for ice to fit in it!
- Showers are overrated… just kidding, we shower plenty! AND swimming totally counts as a shower.
- The water really isn’t that cold, you just gotta jump in!
- You can eat at Taco Bell or Chili’s at home; you really should try a local dive!
- A smile and being polite really goes a long way.
- The walk over to the Chapel at the Air Force Academy is definitely worth it.
- Favorite grocery store is the one in Flagstaff, Arizona. Sometimes things are priced FREE!
